ABOUT ME

EM Cropped Pink and Red.png

Hi. I'm Elizabeth MacLean. I'm a digital media and communication consultant. I'm also 'the face' behind EM Consulting. I'm a bilingual Venezuelan/American educator, having received my Ph.D. in Communication from The University of Texas at Austin. My expertise lies in media/communication and international project management (I've been a lifelong 'go-between,' helping to bridge gaps between and across cultures and languages as far back as I can remember). I also have a professional background in art direction and design, which, inevitably spills over into other areas of my life. Right now I am really enjoying playing with illustration and digital photography.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

I love to help people in the creative and cultural industries leverage the power of technology and strategic communication to increase their impact, whether it's through consulting work, or by sharing tools, resources and insights on this site.

When we are successful, I believe we contribute to building a more open, expressive and equitable world.

services

I have a soft spot for the kind of collaborations where we get to develop your digital content from the beginning (or refresh your existing media to better reflect your goals), and then get to fine-tune the work over time, based on what's working well, and always reaching for your next milestone.

Client Reviews

The concept of the website is clean, elegant and rich in content. The site honors the complex and rich artistic legacy of Alejandro Otero and Mercedes Pardo beautifully.
